Negroes and Land for Sale

Mrs. Ford's cries brought some of the negroes to the scene....man was borne bleeding and cruelly mangled to his residence. Dr. G. S. Bryan was in attendance, but the skull was fractured, and Mr. Ford died about 11 o'clock. The negro attempted to escape....but soon overtaken....committed to jail....trial....takes place in this city today-- Aberdeen Sunny South 5th Inst.
