The information shown here was taken from a ledger on file at the Chancery Clerk's Office,
Clarke County, Mississippi, Courthouse. The printed heading on each page was "Roster of
Confederate Soldiers and Sailors." It is believed this information was compiled for the
1907 Census of Confederate Veterans (or possibly taken from the 1907 census). I have extracted
only the soldier's name, date/place of enlistment, and unit in which served. There is other
data available on each soldier in the ledger.
