[Some Clarke County Deaths]
[A-G] [H-L]
[M-S] [T-Z]
PLEASE READ! The information contained here came from lookups I have done for various people since 2000 from a microfilm copy of the the Mississippi Death Certificate Index. This list does not include every lookup I have ever done, but comprises a big majority. The complete index is contained on eight rolls of film. This IS NOT a complete index for the years 1912-1943. The index was compiled by the MS Dept of Health years ago. As with any human compilation, there probably are errors (including my extraction). When using this info, you are encouraged to check possible variations in spelling of a particular surname. The name or initial(s) after the Stillborn, Unnamed, and other names (mostly 1927) are shown as they appear on the index, and refer to the parent's name or initial(s). Names appearing after the years on some entries are parent's names. Race keys are: 1=White; W=White; 2=Non-white; C=Colored; B=Black. The actual index for 1912-1924 used letter designations for race, but from 1925-1943, numbers were used. (NS) indicates info not shown in index. I have abbreviated county names as follows (only those counties for which lookups have been done):

uploading them to this web site. Click on name to go to Death Certificate.
Those shown in red are connected either directly or indirectly
to my lines or those of my wife. Feel free to download/copy any (or all) of them once they
are uploaded.
