Never full recovered, later developing pneumonia and died shortly after. Funeral services held from Catholic church in Paulding, MS, Friday, 3 PM, Father Joseph officiating. The white were Mr. and Mrs. Dan FAIRCHILD and daughter Mildred, all of Rt. 1, Quitman; the negroes were Ed and John JEEMS, of the same community. Funeral services for the FAIRCHILDS conducted Wednesday afternoon, 2:30 PM, Montrose Baptist Church, Revs. Albert Miller and Ed Grayson officiating. Interment in Montrose Cemetery.
