Major George L. DONALD, Jackson, MS, passed away Wednesday at a Gulfport hospital following a long illness.
Son of the late Major and Mrs. DONALD, Quitman; was brother of Robert H. DONALD, Quitman and Mrs.
Annie DONALD COVINGTON, DeSoto. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War; connected with Internal Revenue
Department for a number of years, after which he became president of one of the leading Jackson, MS banks. Funeral
services held Thursday morning at Jackson.
