WILKINSON, Vicksburg; Mrs. Hilda CARTER, Quitman; three grandchildren, Tracy HAILES, San
Francisco; Carol WILKINSON, Vicksburg; Leon CARTER, Jr., Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. J. A.
McILWAIN, Waynesboro; Mrs. J. A. BELL, Needham, AL; four half brothers, Pete, Andrew, Arvie
and Bill McINNIS; one half sister, Mrs. Lucille DUKE, all of AL; a number of nieces and nephews.
Served as steward in the Salem Methodist church for many years. Funeral services held 27 Dec, 11 AM, Salem
Methodist church, Revs. G. Eliot Jones, Prentiss, L. T. Nelson, Pachuta, W. L. Meadows, Quitman officiating.
Interment in Salem cemetery.

Mrs. E. H. STALLINGS died Tuesday, 2 PM; Mr. STALLINGS died Wednesday, 11 AM. They remained at
Patton Funeral Home until Friday, 2 PM and were taken to Hepzibah church. Services conducted 3:30 by Rev.
Harold W. Anderson, their pastor, assisted by Rev. H. D. Booth, DeSoto, MS. Mr. Stallings is survived by two
brothers, Harvey A. and A. E. STALLINGS, Shubuta; sisters, Mrs. Claudie FLOWERS,
Birmingham; Mrs. Gully SPRINGER, Dermer, MS; a host of other relatives. Mrs. Stallings is survived
by three brothers, Will MORRIS, Mobile; Harry, DeSoto, MS; John MORRIS, MS Delta; a
sister, Mrs. Anna HILL, DeSoto, MS. Both bodies were buried at the same time in a double grave in
the church cemetery. Pallbearers - Tom McCasky, Melvin Donald, Henry Stallings, Earl Bounds, Odelle Bodie,
Dean Poards, Henry Maxwell, Bernard McCoy, Mark Mason, Jr., Lavon Stallings, Robert Smiley, Arthur Albritton.

Co., died Friday, 6 Feb, following an extended illness. Mrs. Fisher, who was dearly beloved by all who knew
her, was 78 years, one month and three days old. Survivors - three daughters, Mrs. W. L. PADGETT, Mrs.
R. K. LEWIS and Mrs. Beulah KENNESON; one son, O. D. FISHER; five grandchildren; two
sisters; one brother; a host of friends. Her husband, J. D. FISHER, preceded her in death many years
ago. Funeral services held from Quitman Methodist Church Sunday, 8 Feb, 2 PM, Revs. V. G. Clifford and
W. L. Meadows officiating. Interment in Odd Fellows cemetery.

of Quitman's best known and most dearly beloved ladies, passed away Thursday, 5 Feb, following a heart attack.
Had been a Quitman resident all her life. For many years, her father, the late Mr. ANDERSON, who
practiced law in Clarke Co., was one of the most outstanding lawyers in the entire state. Survivors -
husband; one son, Ed KRAMER, Jr.; two brothers; one sister. Funeral services held from Quitman
Baptist Church Saturday, 7 Feb, 10 AM, Rev. W. L. Meadows officiating. Interment in
