Funeral services for Jack Leggett DICKERSON, 51, retired U. S. Merchant Marine, held at Walters Funeral Home Chapel in Quitman, 2 PM, Sunday. Had made his home in Houston, TX, for a number of years. Found dead in bed there last Friday morning at his home. His sister, Mrs. Cecil WOODWARD, had visited him at 6:30 PM, Thursday. The findings of a coroner's jury was death from a heart attack. Services were conducted by Rev. Al Finch, and interment was in Hebron Cemetery, Wayne Co., MS. He leaves four sisters, Mrs. W. W. EVANS, Waynesboro, MS, Mrs. WOODWARD, Houston, Mrs. C. W. RAMEY, Meridian, and Mrs. E. A. RAMEY, Quitman; two brothers, Bodie DICKERSON, Quitman, and Houston DICKERSON, Houston, TX. The body was returned to Meridian last Saturday where it was met by representatives of Walters Funeral Home.
