Mrs. Villa Dell PICKARD SMITH, 57, Rt. 1, Vossburg, was killed, and her husband, Lamar SMITH, was hospitalized when their pickup truck overturned Saturday at 6:30 AM, eight miles southwest of Quitman. It was reported that Smith attempted to dodge a tree which had blown across the road and lost control of his truck. They were enroute to Erwin Mills where she was employed. Funeral services held Sunday, 2 PM, Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Mosley officiated.
