After several months illness, George Wallis GRIFFITH, 56, passed away in the Langsdale Community, where he had resided for six years. Funeral services held in the Geneva Presbyterian Church at Matherville, Wayne Co, with interment in the church cemetery. Officiating was Rev. W. E. Calhoun, assisted by Rev. Claiborne Dearman. At an early age, joined the Poplar Springs Methodist Church in the Poplar Springs Community in Clarke-Wayne counties. Survivors - wife, Mrs. Mary L.
