United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement in 1977, teacher at West Rome High School for
18 years. Former resident of Quitman and attended Quitman school. Survivors include
husband, Walter SMIDERSKI; one daughter, Miss Sarah Jean SMIDERSKI, Denver, CO;
one son, Robert W. SMIDERSKI, Athens; three sisters, Mrs. Geraldine CARTER,
